This application note presents an example of simultaneous measurement of four important parameters (cobalt content, solid content, specific gravity, and viscosity) in paint dryers using a near-infrared spectrometer (Vis-NIR). For these four parameters, cobalt content is quantitatively analyzed in the visible light region, while specific gravity, viscosity, and solid content are analyzed in the NIR region. [Paint]
