This is a case study regarding a request for heat treatment "salt quenching" for SK material prototypes. 【Consultation Details】 We want to achieve a hardness of HRC50 or higher, but if we perform salt quenching with the material as is, issues with precision and distortion arise. 【Solution Case】 We proposed changing the material from SK to SPCC and altering the heat treatment method to gas nitriding.
