The Ministry of the Environment has been implementing the "CO2 Reduction Potential Diagnosis" as a measure against global warming since the fiscal year 2010. Subsidies are provided for the "CO2 Reduction Potential Diagnosis," and additional subsidies are also available for the introduction of equipment that achieves a CO2 reduction of 20% (10% for small and medium-sized enterprises) or more based on the diagnosis results.
