We will introduce the reaction results using a flow-type microwave synthesis device in detail!
Our "flow-type microwave synthesis device" can heat the entire system while flowing the target substance (liquid) through a glass coil, eliminating the need for multiple heating steps and allowing for uniform heating. We will introduce the nucleophilic substitution reaction of nitro dichlorobenzene and the experimental methods using this device. basic information
**Experimental Method Details** ■ A solution of 3,4-dichloro-1-nitrobenzene (0.65 M) and DBU (0.98 M) in DMA was prepared and designated as solution A. ■ A solution of 4-methoxyphenol (0.78 M) in DMA was prepared and designated as solution B. ■ Solutions A and B were fed into a microwave irradiation device (100W) at a rate of 3.0 mL/min each (total 6.0 mL/min), and microwaves were irradiated (70W, 2.0 MPa). ■ After confirming that the reaction temperature stabilized, the reaction mixture was sampled for 1 minute. ■ The collected reaction mixture was concentrated, and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography, yielding 0.94g of product (87%). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Company information
Sida FDS Co., Ltd. was established as the development division of the Sida Group, which consistently engages in "monozukuri" (manufacturing) to meet customer needs, from machining parts for machine tools and industrial machinery to the assembly of complete systems. Our goal is to develop and sell products that can be patented, not only in Japan but also globally. Moving forward, we aim to be a manufacturer that is needed by society through the development of our own products (such as environmental evaluation testing equipment and microwave irradiation devices for chemical applications).
