Achieving a 50% reduction in product costs! Introducing a case study on improvements in nut fastening.
At Yokoyama Seiko Co., Ltd., we undertook a technical challenge for cost reduction by improving the "nut riveting" process. Typically, nuts were attached during the welding process after production by pressing. However, we successfully installed a nut riveting unit within a progressive die, supplying nuts with a parts feeder and performing simultaneous riveting within the progressive die. Additionally, we achieved a 50% reduction in product costs. 【Features】 ■ Installation of a nut riveting unit within the progressive die ■ Supply of nuts using a parts feeder ■ Successful simultaneous riveting within the progressive die ■ 50% reduction in product costs *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
