Enabling smooth kerosene supply to evacuation shelters. Osaka Prefecture and Shuwa have concluded a disaster prevention agreement.
On March 25, 2016, we concluded an agreement with Osaka Prefecture regarding the supply cooperation of kerosene and other fuels to evacuation centers during disasters. Learning from the Great East Japan Earthquake, it is anticipated that there will be a shortage of kerosene supplied to evacuation centers and tank trucks for delivery during large-scale disasters. Osaka Prefecture assumes that it will take about a month to restore electricity and gas after a large-scale disaster, and this agreement was reached to help save lives during winter disasters and to make life in evacuation centers as comfortable as possible. 100 stoves have been donated to Osaka Prefecture by Shuwa Corporation. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Since its establishment in 1988, the Shuwa Group has been striving, albeit modestly, to reform the logistics of kerosene to provide our customers with "better products, at lower prices, and more conveniently." Through our "door-to-door sales method," we have expanded our sales area by delivering kerosene directly to customers' doorsteps. With the rapid increase in kerosene handling volume, we have received cooperation from various suppliers, allowing us to efficiently deliver large quantities using our own large tank trucks. The customers supporting our door-to-door sales "Shuwa" have reached approximately one million households, primarily in our founding region of Kansai, as well as in Tokai, Kyushu, and Tohoku, solidifying our position as the top seller in kerosene retail in Japan.
