RTEX-compatible 36-axis motor controller 'PXRP-3216CN'
RealtimeExpress compatible master PXRP-3216CN
It is capable of high-speed processing of complex controls without depending on PCs or operating systems, with no waiting time. Acceleration and deceleration settings can also be made in units of 1 millisecond.
The 『PXRP-3216CN』 is a multifunctional motion control board compatible with Realtime Express (RTEX) that can control up to 36 axes. Equipped with Cosmotex's proprietary pulse generation software "PGS," it enables computational processing within the board, allowing for high-speed processing of complex motor control without relying on a PC or OS. In addition to individual settings for start/stop speeds, it allows for overrides of acceleration/deceleration times, target speeds, and movement amounts during operation. It also supports control for changing interpolation data, modifying/correcting target positions, and temporary pauses during operation. 【Features】 ■ Supports RTEX control for up to 32 axes and pulse sequence control for 4 axes ■ Acceleration and deceleration settings can be configured in 1 msec increments between 1pps and 400Mpps ■ Compatible with devices that cannot connect to a network (pulse sequences, I/O) ■ Capable of various interpolation controls, including linear and circular interpolation *For more details, please refer to the PDF documentation or feel free to contact us. *Realtime Express and RTEX are registered trademarks of Panasonic Holdings Corporation.

Detailed information
-
Individual settings for start speed and stop speed, customizable acceleration time during operation, principle time, target speed, and the ability to override movement amount allow for flexible acceleration and deceleration settings. Settings can be freely adjusted in 1 msec increments between 1 PPS and 400 MPPS.
-
Interpolation control allows for the recording of interpolation data within the PGS for up to 5000 steps, enabling changes to the interpolation data during operation, modifications and corrections to the target position, and the ability to temporarily pause the interpolation operation at any time. Additionally, it is possible to restart from a pause and switch interpolation axes (from XY axis to XZ axis), among other functions.

-
The online soft landing feature allows for the suppression of overshoot during stops with bonding devices, enabling protection of machines, materials, and workpieces.
-
The pitch correction function (pitch error correction function) measures the pitch errors of a transmission mechanism, such as screws, at regular intervals in advance, and corrects the pitch error by adding the correction amount to the commanded position during the control axis drive for positioning. *Achievement: Improvement of positioning accuracy from 46μm to 3μm, a 15-fold enhancement.
-
The axis linkage function is a feature that controls by adding or subtracting the command position (output pulse) or actual position (input pulse) of one axis to another axis. By linking the work table (such as the XYZ axis) with the encoder information of the conveyor, it is possible to operate without stopping the conveyor.
-
Equipped with gantry control as a basic function. By applying the axis linkage function, the Y2 axis is set to be linked to the Y1 axis, allowing the Y2 axis to automatically follow the Y1 axis with just a command issued to the Y1 axis alone.
-
The trigger input function uses general input as a trigger signal to execute pre-set actions. This function can be used for drive start, synchronous start, and more.
-
The timing output function refers to the ability to emit output signals at specified positions or timings, which can be used to turn ON/OFF devices such as strobes, camera shutters, and sensor equipment.
