"What is the RCF regulation?" is a question we often receive from customers. Let me explain the RCF regulation!
The RCF regulation aims to strengthen measures to prevent health hazards for workers related to refractory ceramic fibers (insulation materials). It was enacted and applied in November 2015 as a "Cabinet Order to partially amend the Enforcement Order of the Industrial Safety and Health Act" and as a "Ministry Ordinance to partially amend the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations." As a result of this amendment, it has been classified as a Class 2 substance of specified chemical substances and is subject to preventive regulations. Please note that special protective measures are required when processing, etc. (There are no issues if no cutting or processing is done.) Additionally, there are regulations regarding labeling on containers and packaging, the provision of documents (SDS), the maintenance of the working environment, and notifications. However, if the specified preventive measures are taken, RCF can be used safely. Our company has designated the conventional boards as "RCF regulated products" and continues to handle them. We also offer RCF regulation-compliant products and environmentally friendly specifications (Non-RCF), including alumina fiber boards and bio-soluble fiber boards.

basic information
■Ceramic Fiber Board It is relatively inexpensive compared to other boards, so you can use it without hesitation. It is subject to RCF regulations, but you can use it with peace of mind. Its lightweight and ease of use are advantages. ■Biodegradable Fiber Board This board is designed to comply with RCF regulations. It is made from biodegradable fibers and a small amount of organic binder. The temperature range is low, up to 600°C in the furnace. It can also be used as a backup material for the second layer of the ceramic fiber board. ■Alumina Fiber Board This board is designed to comply with RCF regulations. Since the aforementioned biodegradable board is suitable for temperatures up to 600°C in the furnace, the alumina fiber board is recommended for use at higher temperature ranges. It is characterized by being lightweight and strong, but it is more expensive compared to other boards. We will provide guidance on the board that suits your usage conditions. All of our products are custom-made according to your requirements.

Since its founding in 1891, we have progressed as a manufacturer specializing in refractory materials and continue to produce refractory bricks and insulators for electric furnaces. Our main products today are industrial electric heaters, and we excel in the design and manufacturing of heaters for electric furnaces that operate in harsh environments with extreme temperature fluctuations, creating them to order. Using metal heating elements, we provide electric furnace heaters that can withstand temperatures up to 1200°C, which are used in furnaces for processes such as carburizing and quenching of iron, as well as bending glass. Additionally, as a new product, we have successfully developed and commercialized a hot air generation device by combining metal heating element processing technology with ceramic insulator manufacturing technology. Our motto is to thoroughly address our customers' concerns and challenges and to stay with them until solutions are found. Based on the technology and know-how cultivated over more than 125 years of history and achievements, we are ready to assist with any inquiries related to heat.
