<August 29, 2019> We have newly released a focal length of 35mm. ■ The 5MX, designed with the highest performance grade S rank according to the JIIA (Japan Industrial Imaging Association) lens standards, exceeds 5 megapixels. Its optical performance rivals that of other companies' 12-megapixel lenses, achieving a high-resolution design of over 147 [lp/mm] across the entire area from the center to the periphery at an object distance of around 250mm. ■ Achieves low distortion TV distortion is less than 0.1%. ■ Adopts a floating mechanism It can capture high-resolution images with minimal distortion across the entire range from infinity to close distances. ■ Compact design with a diameter of φ33mm It does not hinder the work efficiency of production lines and enhances the flexibility of integration into inspection devices that require compactness and high performance, as well as into production lines. The RICOH FL series offers a wide range of high-performance lenses with different focal lengths and sensor sizes for resolutions of 9M, 5M, 2M, and VGA. The expertise gained from our camera business is also applied to create high-quality products with minimal variation between individual units. Ricoh supports the efficiency and reliability improvements of our customers' production lines. While typical lenses experience image degradation from the center to the edges, Ricoh's FA lenses exhibit very little peripheral image degradation, ensuring excellent optical characteristics. This allows for the acquisition of high-resolution images over a wider area, enabling high-level visual inspections with stable quality. *The machine vision lenses previously sold under the Pentax brand have been switched to the Ricoh brand since October 2012.
