Manufacturing technology for artificial joint sliding components that are excellent in wear resistance and can be sterilized by radiation.
Dramatically improved wear resistance! Introducing the technology of the new product development and manufacturing department.
Our company has developed a manufacturing technology for artificial joint sliding components with excellent wear resistance by improving the physical properties of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene through the suppression of free radical generation caused by radiation sterilization. Additionally, we have developed a new technology that dramatically enhances conventional wear resistance by imparting molecular orientation that maximizes the characteristics of polymers. This related patent has been licensed to Biomet, Inc. in the United States, and the company obtained approval from the U.S. FDA in March 2005. We have also begun sales of the second generation of artificial joint products utilizing this technology. 【Features】 - Improved physical properties of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene - Developed manufacturing technology for artificial joint sliding components with excellent wear resistance - Developed a new technology that dramatically enhances conventional wear resistance by imparting molecular orientation that maximizes the characteristics of polymers - Began sales of the second generation of artificial joint products utilizing this technology *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
