Visualize the driver's perspective with eye-tracking glasses. Use it as material and evidence for usability testing, trials, and product development!

The technology of eye tracking is already being introduced in many manufacturing sites for purposes such as visualizing inspection tasks, skill transfer, education, and evaluating technical capabilities. This technology is also gaining attention as a tool for analyzing and researching gaze during the operation and piloting of automobiles, aircraft, and ships, with increasing adoption in automotive research institutions and universities. We will introduce an example of an experiment we conducted using our Japanese brand eye tracker "Eye Tracking Core+". 【Purpose of the Experiment】 ■ How much does the evaluation of the UI differ among drivers? ■ How much do the points of focus during driving differ based on skill level? ■ What are the characteristics of each driver? 【Some Results of the Experiment】 ■ Skilled drivers fixate their gaze on a single object (such as a car in front) while driving, and only move their gaze when the object disappears or when there is something else they want to pay attention to, indicating a regular driving pattern.
