[Pokayoke Example] Prevention of forgetting to apply Loctite with a hand pump

Achieving prevention of forgetting to apply the screw locking agent of the Loctite hand pump.

We received a request from an industrial machinery manufacturer stating, "In the assembly process of industrial machinery, we are manually applying thread-locking adhesive to frequently moving parts of the machinery, and we would like to implement a mistake-proofing system to prevent forgetting to apply the adhesive." We developed a system that attaches our "mistake-proofing transmitter" to the Loctite hand pump (the adhesive application pump) currently used by the customer. This system sends a signal when the grip of the Loctite hand pump is lightly squeezed, thereby preventing the forgetting of adhesive application. 【Details】 (1) Developed a mechanism that can sense the action of "lightly" gripping the handle.
