Simulating friction and lubrication conditions in press forming! Accurately reproducing complex tribological phenomena! [Free seminar ongoing]
In press forming simulation, friction becomes a crucial key. On the other hand, to obtain more realistic and reliable simulation results, it is necessary to accurately reproduce tribological effects. However, accurately reproducing the above and incorporating it into the simulation has been challenging. As an approach to this complex area, we propose TriboForm. This software allows for the construction of friction models that correspond to real conditions by varying surface pressure, speed, strain, and temperature. Therefore, it leads to higher accuracy in simulations compared to the conventional Coulomb friction model. 【Features】 ■ Accurately reproduces complex tribological phenomena ■ Efficient simulation, visualization, and evaluation of friction and lubrication conditions ■ Easily integrates with representative simulation software ■ Improves the accuracy of press forming simulations ■ Reduces the number of costly mold modifications in trials and production, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Applications/Examples of results
The TriboForm Analyzer is a standalone software that efficiently simulates, displays, and evaluates friction and lubrication conditions. This product includes the TriboForm library, which contains a comprehensive set of tribological data related to thin sheet materials and mold materials that are frequently used in the press forming industry, as well as general lubrication information. The results can be directly exported to the TriboForm FEM Plug-In. By using the TriboForm FEM Plug-In, you can integrate the results of TriboForm into common FEM simulation software. Through this plugin, tribology is unified into representative press forming simulation software such as AutoForm, Pam-Stamp, and LS-Dyna.
