- The shuttle valve connects the flow to the larger of the two input signals. Additionally, when backflow occurs from the output side, it flows in the direction of the connected input. There are types with a bite-in and cartridge types. - A composite valve with two inlets and one outlet regarding oil flow. - There is a ball inside the valve, and the inlet with lower pressure can be freely closed. The inlet with higher pressure connects to the outlet. - It is optimal for controlling pilot pressure in hydraulic brake mechanisms and similar applications.
