Introducing the basics of nonlinear analysis. Seminars on various fields such as structural analysis, fluid dynamics, and chemistry are currently being held.
The Computational Mechanics Research Center, which engages in research and development of software based on structural and fluid dynamics, is hosting beginner-friendly seminars on various topics including fluid (thermal fluid and acoustics), structural analysis, and chemistry. This time, we will hold our first free seminar for beginners themed "Nonlinearity" in our seminar room. We will explain the fundamental knowledge necessary to explore phenomena that go beyond linearity. This content is recommended for those who are about to start or have just begun working on nonlinear analysis. 【Seminar Overview】 Date: November 7, 2019 (Thursday) Time: 13:30 - 17:00 (Registration starts at 13:00) Venue: Our seminar room (8F Tokyu Togoshi Building, 1-7-1 Togoshi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) Capacity: Approximately 30 people (Pre-registration required) *Registration will close once the capacity is reached. *You can view a digest version of the seminar materials from "PDF Download." We are engaged in a wide range of fields centered around scientific and technical calculations in areas such as structures, fluids, electricity, and chemistry. We develop numerical analysis software using methods like the finite element method and boundary element method on a contract basis, and we focus our business on analysis services utilizing these tools. Additionally, we handle many packages and analysis support tools, including general-purpose codes such as Simcenter 3D, Simcenter Nastran, and Simcenter Femap, and through contract calculations, maintenance, and sales of these tools, we have cultivated advanced techniques for building analysis models.
