We have a track record of supplying materials for paper manufacturing and bridge components that require corrosion resistance, and we are also capable of producing raw materials such as forged and rolled materials. We have a research facility in Muroran, where we can respond to various needs, including material development and proposals for optimal processes. For example, in ultra-thick duplex stainless steel, the cooling rate slows down, causing the σ phase to precipitate and reducing ductility and corrosion resistance. However, through our original component design, it is possible to suppress the σ phase.
