The molding cycle of injection molding can be shortened by lowering the temperature of the cooling water flowing through the mold. However, lowering the cooling water temperature has disadvantages, such as causing condensation on the mold, which negatively affects the appearance of the product. As a result, many companies use air conditioning to control mold condensation throughout the entire factory where injection molding machines are located. However, this method requires large air conditioning units to cool the entire factory, leading to high initial investment and operational electricity costs, and it also makes the operators inside the factory feel cold.   The temperature at which the moisture in the air becomes saturated and condenses is called the dew point temperature (or absolute humidity). Condensation on molds is caused by moisture in the air, but in environments like Japan, where there are significant temperature and humidity differences throughout the year, controlling the dew point temperature has been a very challenging task. The MAP system blows and retains dry air only around the molds of the injection molding machine, preventing condensation on the molds caused by low-temperature chiller water, thus allowing for a consistent humidity level throughout the year.
