This system is an automated packaging system that aims for seamless integration with production management (shipping) systems using large robotic arms, sealing machines, and conveyor systems. ■ Benefits of Implementation - The introduction of the system will achieve an 80% reduction in personnel previously involved in conventional packaging operations. (From 15 people to an estimated 3 people after implementation) - By integrating with the production management (shipping) system, it will help prevent shipping errors. ■ Background for Implementation Since 2000, Osaki has been promoting hybrid packaging using a combination of steel pallets and reinforced cardboard boxes. However, even with the introduction of hybrid packaging, handling medium-weight items and the bundling of stored parts have remained unchanged, with manual labor being the primary method.
