About the logistics park for China export agency

In the "Logistics Park," imports are recognized as exports simultaneously, allowing for refunds to be received.

The "Logistics Park" refers to the establishment of the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, which was approved in December 2003, leading to the birth of the "Bonded Logistics Park." The significant difference from previous bonded zones was that, to receive a VAT refund, actual shipments were required in a "bonded zone." However, in the "Logistics Park," goods are recognized as exported upon entry, allowing for refunds to be obtained. Additionally, in 2006, the Suzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone was established by integrating the "Bonded Logistics Center Type B" and "Export Processing Zone" to serve similar functions inland rather than in port areas. Then, in 2007, the "Bonded Port Area," which combines the advantages of bonded zones, export processing zones, and logistics parks, was officially approved. This is the Shanghai Yangshan Port Bonded Port Area, which became part of the Shanghai Free Trade Pilot Zone in September 2013.
