[Case Study] Introducing examples of plates used in industrial machinery and construction equipment!
Introduction of Konishi Manufacturing's case, which utilizes its top-notch equipment for grinding and polishing processes in Japan, providing comprehensive support for flat cutting, cylindrical grinding, and internal grinding.
Utilizing our top-tier grinding and polishing equipment in the country, we provide comprehensive services for flat cutting, cylindrical grinding, and internal grinding. Additionally, we offer one-stop support from prototype development to mass production and quality assurance, including the procurement of machined products, pressed items, and forged parts. ■ Plates used in industrial machinery These plates for industrial machinery are made of iron, with an outer length dimension of 62mm and an inner diameter of φ23mm. A machining accuracy of 50μm is required for the width. Therefore, polishing is performed using a rotary grinding machine for the width. ■ Plate components used in construction machinery These plates for construction machinery are made of iron, with an outer diameter of φ110mm, an inner diameter of φ50mm, and a width of 6mm. A roughness of Rmax 0.5 is required for the width, and a parallelism of 2μm is also required. Consequently, at grindingprocessing.com, we use honing machines to perform machining, allowing for simultaneous processing of both sides and up to four pieces at once. As a result, we can achieve higher precision compared to other machining methods, reduce lead times, and offer cost reduction proposals.

KONISHI Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has been providing products to the world market with ball bearings under the trademark name "MRK." "Precision machining" and "mass production" are fundamental concepts for the manufacturing industry, yet they are being reexamined in light of the harsh realities that constantly demand speed and cost reduction. In the midst of changing values and diversifying needs, how we can enhance customer satisfaction and trust is a significant challenge and driving force for us. We believe that thorough quality control, improvements in work efficiency, a flexible system that introduces new information and technologies as needed, and above all, a customer-centric mindset will lead to new possibilities. We are actively working on "small lots" and "short delivery times," focusing on building a system that meets current needs and turning customer proposals into reality.
