◆Vibration Absorption and Viscoelastic Properties of Polyolefin-based Materials Materials with vibration absorption properties are attracting attention as they enable improvements in labor and living environments through soundproofing and vibration isolation. It is believed that vibration absorption occurs due to energy loss associated with internal friction in the material, and the amount of energy loss is known to correlate with the material's viscoelastic properties. By conducting viscoelastic measurements of the material, information regarding vibration absorption can be obtained. ◆Measurement and Control of Residual Solvent Levels in Wire Coating Processes Insulated wires used in discrete wiring circuit boards can cause various product defects (blisters, delamination, etc.) due to residual solvents present in the wire coating material. However, by utilizing thermal analysis techniques for the detection and quantification of residual solvents, it is possible to implement high-precision quality control.
