The VAD-i800.xx transmits 8 channels of composite video signals over single-mode optical fiber up to 20 km and over multi-mode optical fiber up to 1 km. The video is transmitted in a digital format, ensuring no degradation in image quality.

- Transmits 8 channels of composite video (NTSC/PAL/SECAM) over a single optical fiber. - Transmission is done using a transmitter (VAD-i800.TC) and a receiver (VAD-i800.RC). - The transmission distance is up to 20 km for single mode and up to 1 km for multi mode. - The video signal is sampled at an uncompressed 8-bit 27 MHz with minimal degradation. - The optical fiber is not affected by noise from other devices or cables. - The optical fiber does not generate noise such as electromagnetic waves. - Ground loops that can cause video noise do not occur. - Operates on DC 9-12V (DC 12V power adapter included). - When installing multiple units, up to 7 units can be grouped together using a separately sold 19-inch rack mount chassis (VAD-RACK-14-4U). *This product does not support AHD / HD-TVI / HDCVI (analog HD) video signals. Compatible products are the VAD-H series and HD401F series.
