The MIL1394 repeater is a solution for cable extension.
MIL1394, like the commercial IEEE1394 FireWire, has limitations on the length of the connection cable. Therefore, to extend a 1394 connection, it is necessary to use thicker wires or add signal repeaters. DapTechnology has developed a wide variety of repeater models, offering about 25 different configurations, including simple pass-through, multi-pass-through, fiber optic conversion, and EMI-enhanced solutions.
