[From the Developer] We received a request to create an acrylic aerosol box from a certain hospital due to COVID-19 infections. Initially, I thought it would be fine to simply bond acrylic sheets and drill holes, as it would be cheaper. However, considering the user's perspective, I realized that the final product would incur high costs during transportation and delivery, and it would take up space and become a nuisance during storage. Additionally, acrylic has some weaknesses against impact, and it can crack if the corners are bumped. Therefore, it seemed better to replace parts rather than the whole unit. Summarizing these points, I thought an assembly and disassembly design would be preferable. I aimed to create a structure that anyone could easily assemble, which led to this design.
