0.5mm pitch high heat resistance floating board-to-board connector
This is a board-to-board connector with a floating mechanism featuring a 0.5mm pitch. By adopting a floating structure that absorbs misalignment during board mounting, it allows for a maximum movement of ±1.0mm (approximately 2.2 times better than our conventional products) in the XY direction when mated (F/P=200%), achieving high contact reliability. Additionally, it has high heat resistance up to +125°C, making it suitable for the stringent high-temperature environments required by automotive equipment. (※1) As of September 25, 2018, according to our research (※2) X, Y: ±1.0 (X²+Y²=1²) - The plug connector is a straight type, and for the corresponding receptacle connector, two types are available: a "straight type" for parallel connection to the substrate and a "right-angle type" for vertical connection, enhancing design flexibility. - The tail section is visible from the top, improving work efficiency during the assembly inspection process. - A terminal type for high current power supply and a composite type that allows the use of signal connectors and power supply connectors without separate implementation are also available, catering to a wide range of needs. - The contact shape features a mechanism that increases concentrated load to eliminate foreign substances (wiping effect), achieving high contact reliability. - Compatible with automatic assembly.
