• Three types of columns support cation exchange solid-phase extraction for various target molecules. • All three types of columns utilize a mixed-mode packing material composed of cation exchange mode and reversed-phase mode. • All three types of columns use PSDVB resin as the support material. • The HPSCX column has a stronger reversed-phase mode compared to the PSCX column, making it optimal for solid-phase extraction of highly polar target molecules. • The PWCX column is used for weak cation exchange SPE. • High adsorption capacity packing material allows for extraction concentrated to 50μl using NBE type columns/plates. • The selection of a 96-well plate type automates the process with A200.
