We will leverage the ideas and technologies born from the iron-making process into our "iron-related business," supporting further development of our "iron business."
Astech Irie Co., Ltd. was established in 1901 (Meiji 34) when the government-operated Yawata Steel Works began operations in Yawata Village, Fukuoka Prefecture, marking the first step in establishing Japan's steel industry. About ten years later, in 1910 (Meiji 43), the company started operations as a contractor for Yawata Steel Works. Since then, we have changed our company name from Irie-gumi to Irie Kousan and then to Astech Irie, expanding our business while focusing on the iron industry, and we are now also venturing into the fields of environment and recycling. 【Business Overview (Excerpt)】 ■ Iron Business - Steelmaking (refining, slag treatment, refractory construction) ■ Derived from the Iron Business - Fine ceramics precision processing ■ Environment & Recycling - Manufacturing and sales of iron powder and ferric chloride solution *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
