[Aluminum Surface Treatment Problem Solving Case] High Heat Dissipation Insulation Substrate
Cost reduction by replacing resin with anodized aluminum! It can also contribute to improved heat dissipation.
The resin layer of the printed circuit board plays an important role, including its thickness, in ensuring the necessary insulation for electrical design. However, the thicker the resin layer, the more time it takes for lamination, and particularly in power devices, the decrease in thermal conductivity raises concerns about reduced cooling efficiency. Therefore, we use a combination of crack-free hard anodizing treatment "TAF TR" and base anodizing "TAF AD." By replacing the resin with an anodized coating, we can reduce film formation costs and enhance cooling effects with the high emissivity of the anodized coating. [Challenges and Background] ■ The thicker the resin layer, the more time is required for lamination. ■ Particularly in power devices, the decrease in thermal conductivity raises concerns about reduced cooling efficiency. ■ When using anodized coatings as insulation layers, issues such as bubbling and peeling due to heat during the manufacturing process are unavoidable. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Solution】 By combining the crack-free hard anodizing treatment "TAF TR" with the base anodizing "TAF AD," both dielectric strength and substrate adhesion can be achieved. 【Effect】 By replacing resin with an anodized film, film formation costs can be reduced, and the cooling effect can be enhanced by the high emissivity of the anodized film. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
