The PP F84/m3d is equipped with sufficient features and connectivity to enable advanced backward compatibility with other CompactPCI processor boards, aiming to facilitate migration. Based on a quad-core Intel Core i3-9100HL processor with 16GB of soldered DDR4 ECC DRAM, the PP F84/m3d includes two front Gigabit Ethernet ports to enhance connectivity and two XMC/PMC module slots to maximize local I/O expansion. Given the increasing importance of security in recent applications, the PP F84/m3d is equipped with a Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0) and supports Intel Boot Guard as standard. It also comes with a rich set of peripheral interfaces and options for high-bandwidth, directly connected storage modules with capacities of up to 1TB.
