Galil's economy model motion controller
The DMC-41x3 motion controller is a standalone economical model of the latest generation from Galil. The controller can be configured as a board type or as a BOX type option. It can operate in standalone mode or be controlled by a PC using Ethernet 10/100Base-T or USB. The controller features I/O via photo couplers and has high current output options for relay and brake drive. It operates on a power supply of 20 to 60 VDC. Up to eight axes can be configured to drive either stepper motors or servo motors. In addition to PID compensation, it offers feedforward based on speed and acceleration, as well as notch filters. As for programming capabilities, it can run up to eight multitasking application programs that can synchronize with external events simultaneously.

There is an RS232 port for external devices. ■ With an optional motor driver, stepping motors, servo motors, and brushless servo motors up to 500W can be used. ■ In addition to choosing between stepping motors or servo motors, piezo ceramic motors (piezo motors) can also be selected with optional firmware. Sine wave rectification settings are also possible. ■ Maximum control speed: Encoder input 15MHz, pulse output to stepping motors 3MHz. ■ PID control: PVT mode, speed/acceleration feedforward, integral limit, PID compensation notch filter, and low-pass filter. ■ Program: Programs, variables, and array data are stored in onboard non-volatile memory.
