In particular, it can achieve high coaxiality (concentricity) deep hole machining with a gundrill (tool) for extremely small diameters (φ0.5 gundrill) and workpieces with an L/D (depth to diameter ratio) exceeding 200, which were difficult to handle with conventional small diameter gundrill machines / small diameter deep hole machining machines.
