Acquired Biomass Mark 50! Environmentally friendly biomass-based black water-dispersible ink.
In recent years, the issue of environmental destruction caused by plastic waste has become increasingly serious, particularly the problem of microplastics in the oceans, which is reaching a catastrophic level that threatens ecosystems worldwide. Our company develops various natural biomass-based biodegradable resins, bioplastics, biomass-based coating materials, and paints. Biomass-based black ink is one such environmentally friendly product, made from a water dispersion of bamboo charcoal. The average particle size of the bamboo charcoal is approximately 200-290 nm, with a concentration of 15-25%. It has obtained the Biomass Mark 50 (Certification Number 200174) from the Japan Organic Resources Association and is recommended as a base ink for inks, paints, and various types of inks. We are a chemical company that researches, develops, manufactures, and sells cutting-edge materials and technologies in the environmental and energy sectors aimed at building a decarbonized society. We are developing various advanced materials and technologies, including natural biomass-based biodegradable plastics (resins), biomass coating materials, biomass inks, next-generation solar cells, next-generation secondary batteries, next-generation fuel cells, quantum dots, metal-organic frameworks, ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, and cellulose nanofibers. Our original brand, Nano Sakura, under GS Alliance, significantly enhances the functional properties of raw materials by "compositing" cellulose nanofibers, which are the main component of plants, with various existing resin materials, resulting in an environmentally friendly, next-generation high-performance advanced material. We also offer products made from 100% natural materials derived from natural biomass waste resources such as wood, plants, bamboo, paper, recycled paper, seaweed, and starch, aiming for a grade with zero petroleum usage, striving to create materials that are as environmentally friendly as possible. We have been selected as a startup support program company by UNOPS, a United Nations-related organization. UNOPS S3i Innovation Centre Japan
