Maintains the basic performance of various organic liquids! A gelling agent that keeps a gel state with a small amount and at relatively high temperatures.
Gelling agents are used for purposes such as solidifying and thickening liquid substances. When the upper limit of the gelling temperature is low, a slight increase in temperature can cause the shape to be lost, leading to fluidization and potential leakage. In this invention, we have developed a gelling agent that maintains a gel state with a smaller amount and at relatively high temperatures. With the addition of a small amount of organic gelling agents that do not contain hydrogen bonds, various liquids can be freely gelled. It is possible to create gels using molecular nanofibers with thicknesses ranging from tens to hundreds of nanometers while maintaining the basic properties of various organic liquids such as ionic liquids, liquid crystals, and organic electrolytes. [Creation of Non-Protonic Organic Gelling Agents] - Non-hydrogen bonding: High electrochemical stability - High gelling: Approximately 2 wt%, with electrolyte content over 98 wt% - Wide range of applicability - Applicable not only to alcohols and hydrocarbon solvents but also to various good solvents such as PC, DMF, and ionic liquids. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Yamaguchi TLO Co., Ltd. is a TLO approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry based on the Act on the Promotion of Technology Transfer from Universities, established in November 1999 with investments from 50 faculty members of Yamaguchi University (capital of 4 million yen) before incorporation. It is a liaison-type technology transfer organization that bridges people. We return the research results from the university to society in the form of technology transfer and other means. Additionally, we are actively recruiting member companies to prioritize the disclosure of invention information and contribute to the development of the local economy through these efforts.
