Our company has established a quality system based on the "Dantotsu" activities and is always striving for customer satisfaction. The "Dantotsu Process Creation Activities" are quality activities aimed at creating a process that is clearly the best by pursuing the root causes of defects and thoroughly eliminating potential causes. Every day, we stop production equipment for 15 minutes to investigate the root causes of defects that occurred in the process the previous day, respond to defects based on the "three realities" principle, and discuss measures to prevent recurrence for parts with defects that occurred in the process each month. Currently, it has been 10 years since we began these activities. This is not only a concept of quality but also an activity that forms the foundation of Shimizu Industry, including improvements in productivity and human resource development.
