This is a USB 2.0 compatible digital input/output unit that extends the input/output functions of a computer with digital signals. It is equipped with 128 points of photo-coupler isolated input (current sink output compatible) and 128 points of photo-coupler isolated open collector output (current sink type). Up to 16 of the input signals can be used as interrupts. Additionally, it features a digital filter function and a protection circuit for the output transistors (overcurrent protection).

**Main Features** ● Since the digital input points and digital output points are common, bidirectional signal control is possible. Each input/output pin can be used as either an input or an output without changing the wiring. ● Equipped with 128 points of photocoupler isolated input and 128 points of photocoupler isolated open collector output. It features 128 points of photocoupler isolated input (compatible with current sink output) with a response speed of 200μsec, and 128 points of photocoupler isolated open collector output (current sink type). Bidirectional signal control is possible due to the common input/output points. ● Equipped with USB hub functionality. The main unit has a USB hub function, allowing up to four DIO-128SLX-USB devices to be connected to a single USB port on a computer. If using more than four DIO-128SLX-USB devices, they can be connected to another USB port on the computer. ● 16 input signals can be used as interrupt request signals. The 16 input signals can be used as interrupt request signals, allowing for interrupt enable/disable on a per-bit basis and selection of the edge of the input signal that generates the interrupt.
