These antibodies also effectively block infections from the Delta variant. By spraying this reagent into the air, if the neutralizing antibodies bind to the novel coronavirus present in the droplets, the infectivity of the virus may be weakened. Additionally, if the neutralizing antibodies are applied to infection protection items such as masks and the novel coronavirus comes into contact with them, it is expected to strongly capture the virus. When spraying on a mask, please spray on the outside of the mask. Also, when reusing the same mask, please wash or disinfect it with alcohol before spraying again.   Regarding neutralizing antibodies: We investigated the inhibitory effect of the neutralizing antibodies contained in this spray on the binding of the recombinant protein of the receptor binding domain present in the spike protein of the novel coronavirus to the recombinant protein of the extracellular domain of the receptor angiotensin-converting enzyme 2, and found that the 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50) was 10.3 ng/mL (manuscript in preparation).
