It is an inspection to check, identify, and determine the characters printed on parts and products.
Set a reading window on the captured image and extract characters from it. Based on the extracted characters and the set parameters, readability and quality inspections will be conducted. By registering characters in a dictionary, it is possible to inspect characters other than those recognized by OCR. Each character is extracted one by one from the captured image and compared against a pre-registered dictionary for judgment. Additionally, multiple inspections, such as size checks, inspections of unique features of the characters, and mutual comparisons with similar characters, are combined to comprehensively assess print quality.
