An all-in-one model of an appearance inspection device that integrates lighting equipment, imaging equipment, conveying mechanisms, and processing devices!
Equipped with our original appearance inspection method, the Slit Shift Min-Max method, it detects minute defects on the surfaces of glossy or mirror-like products that conventional methods could not identify by shifting the light from slits with contrasting brightness at a constant cycle. A multi-joint robot grips the workpiece to be inspected and positions it optimally for inspection, allowing for inspection of each surface and instant determination of OK/NG status. The multi-joint robot can also switch gripping methods according to the shape of the workpiece, enabling users to set up teaching and detection processes tailored to various workpiece shapes, accommodating a wide variety of workpieces. Inspection of workpieces with curved shapes is also possible by illuminating slit patterns from large LCD light sources positioned on both sides.
