[Case Study] Utilizing Existing Air Conditioning to Achieve a Low-Cost Clean Room

A case where an existing air conditioning system was upgraded to quasi-clean room specifications by adding a high-performance filter.

A customer who has recently started manufacturing health foods consulted us about establishing a clean manufacturing environment. In the area where installation is planned, there is a ceiling cassette-type air conditioner, and they expressed a desire to utilize it as is. Therefore, we proposed constructing the entire clean room using antibacterial clean panels, with a double structure that includes a KAMATA clean booth in the filling process area. As a result, by attaching a high-performance filter to the ceiling cassette-type air conditioner, we were able to change it to quasi-clean room specifications, and by using a floor-mounted FFU in conjunction, we successfully established a clean environment at a low cost.
