A case where two drill press operators were able to be assigned to the main job of welding!
We would like to introduce a case study of a long-length processing machine that was implemented at a sheet metal fabrication company specializing in frame assembly for machinery. The company faced the challenge that drilling holes in frames is always necessary, but doing it manually is quite labor-intensive. They wanted to streamline this process to improve production efficiency and, consequently, profit margins. We proposed using the "FB-5000-20ATC-S" to perform simple operations such as drilling and tapping holes in square pipes. By mechanizing the tedious yet low-profit margin task of drilling holes, the efficiency of the work dramatically increased. This allowed the company to significantly boost both work efficiency and overall sales. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenge: Drilling holes in frames is always necessary, but doing it manually is difficult. ■Proposal: We proposed the Fuji Industry long-length processing machine "FB-5000-20ATC-S." ■Effect: The company was able to reassign two drill press operators to focus on their main welding tasks. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
