Introducing a case where people, time, and place were all compressed, resulting in a dramatic increase in productivity!
We would like to introduce a case study of a company that processes aluminum sashes for building materials, which has implemented a long-length processing machine. The company was performing work processing and cutting in separate processes, and they expressed a desire to automate at least the cutting machine, as it was old, in order to improve production efficiency even slightly. Initially, they were only considering the automation of cutting, but we proposed a system that integrates three processes: "cutting, drilling, and mortising." As a result, the work that previously involved cutting with a cutting machine, transporting it to the processing area, and having a person drill holes with a drill press has now been made possible with a single chuck for cutting and processing due to the introduction of a multifunction machine, leading to a dramatic improvement in production efficiency. [Case Overview] ■ Issue: Processing and cutting are separate processes ■ Proposal: A processing machine that integrates automatic loading, cutting, and drilling ■ Effect: Significant improvement in productivity by compressing people, time, and space *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
