"Helicoil" is the original "screw insert" that was born in the United States in the 1930s. We offer two types. ■ Tanged Thread Insert The tanged thread insert provides a permanent and wear-resistant screw thread, eliminating the need for cutting and removing tangs. It also features a "screw lock" mechanism that prevents loosening under vibration or impact. ■ Tangless Thread Insert The tangless thread insert provides self-locking torque to male components through one or more insert coils. Using tangless thread inserts eliminates the risk of loose tangs, making it a solution for critical applications where foreign object debris (FOD) is not present. There is no need for cutting or retrieving tangs, and they can be easily adjusted or removed after installation.
