basic information
**Features of Our Consulting Services** ■ Discovering what users truly want and responding to it No matter how highly rated a product is, it doesn't guarantee sales. This is because there is often something that serves as a "substitute." In other words, it is essential to uncover the needs where users feel "I absolutely want this" or "I want to do this, but I can't." Our company has methods to achieve this. Additionally, we have data on "strong unmet needs" related to various daily activities (such as cooking) obtained from surveys and interviews conducted independently by us, as well as "highly sensitive monitors" for each activity. ■ Providing products and services that give users excitement and new value Even if a product is user-friendly, it doesn't guarantee sales. It is crucial to evoke emotions by reflecting on users' past experiences and feelings at that time. In essence, it is about providing not only the specifications of the product that make this possible but also the context and ways to use it. This is referred to as a UX story. This will provide users with new value. Our company possesses "patterned UX stories" that can evoke excitement in users.

**Evaluation Techniques Related to Consulting** There are evaluation techniques based on ergonomics and those based on living engineering. **Evaluation Techniques Based on Ergonomics** Rather than evaluating individual products or services, we strive to assess them in light of the various characteristics of the people who use them. For example, items used by hand include razors, food wraps, food containers, sinks (including faucets), vacuum cleaners, and car handles. Some movements are specific to certain products, while others are common across different products. By taking a comprehensive view of these, we can understand how the range of motion and exerted force change with various hand movements, and we evaluate products in contrast to this. This process not only highlights areas for improvement in the products but also has the potential to inspire ideas for new products. This task can be quite challenging and difficult, but we make every effort to approach it in this way. For specific evaluation techniques, please refer to the individual sections. **Evaluation Techniques Based on Living Engineering** In contrast to ergonomics, which studies the relationship between people and objects or services, living engineering studies the relationship between life and objects or services. We are currently working on this area and will publish our findings as soon as they are organized.
