We would like to introduce our functional food ingredient, Inulin(R), which we handle. It is a plant-derived water-soluble dietary fiber extracted from the roots of chicory vegetables grown in the Netherlands. Chicory-derived inulin is a key dietary fiber consumed in Europe and the United States, serving as food for intestinal flora and acting as a prebiotic material that ferments in the intestines, producing short-chain fatty acids. In fermentation capacity evaluation tests, our product has been confirmed to produce about twice the amount of short-chain fatty acids compared to indigestible dextrin.
