Sub-cooler is standard equipment in the Raikonic automatic warehouse STC series.
The DC2 and DF models of Liconic's BiOLiX STC series automatic warehouse (models for storage temperatures above -20 degrees) come standard with a sub-cooler that supports the main cooler in case of emergencies (*1). If the storage temperature rises above a pre-set threshold (*2), the device detects an emergency with the main cooler and activates the sub-cooler, which is included as a redundant feature. *1 For temperatures below -20 degrees, optional equipment can be added. *2 The threshold can be set to the temperature specified by the user. The STC is designed to fit the user's allowable installation area. Please feel free to consult us if there are variations in sample containers or if there are no barcodes. BiOLiX Series STC The STC storage system is ideal for a wide range of storage applications, accommodating sample sizes from approximately 100,000 to several million, and temperature ranges from -80°C to room temperature. LiCONiC's unique compressible high-density shelf system is completely surrounded by vacuum-insulated chest-style compartments. This design takes advantage of the natural property of cold air sinking, providing a highly energy-efficient enclosure across all temperature ranges (energy-saving design). The multifunctional input/output interface and tube picking station are confined to a single system area to prevent moisture intrusion and facilitate access for servicing.
