The device consists of a cylindrical sealed container covered on the inside with an insulating film such as fluororesin, which is negatively charged by applying a high-voltage power supply, with an anode placed in the center. In the actual experiments, light hydrogen gas will be used instead of deuterium gas. There is no risk of neutron exposure since fusion reactions will not occur.
