Confirmed improvement in skin viscoelasticity with the combined intake of soybean isoflavones and lactobionic acid. Materials available.
Our company conducted joint research with Daicel Corporation regarding the functional claims related to skin for the health food ingredient "soy isoflavones." We confirmed that the combined intake of "soy isoflavones" and Daicel's developed health food ingredient "lactobionic acid" improves skin functions (stratum corneum moisture content, transepidermal water loss, and skin viscoelasticity). Moving forward, we aim to obtain approval for functional food labeling in collaboration with both companies. 【Overview of Research Content and Results】 ■ Soy Isoflavones: A type of flavonoid predominantly found in soybean embryos. ■ Lactobionic Acid: An oligosaccharide produced from lactose by acetic acid bacteria. ■ A comparative study was conducted with 70 women, divided into a placebo group and a combination group. ■ The combination group showed an increase in stratum corneum moisture content, improved skin viscoelasticity, and enhanced absorption of isoflavones. *For more details, please refer to the materials. Fujikko Co., Ltd. is a company engaged in the manufacturing and sales of various food products. Starting with "kombu" at its inception, it has expanded its business to include "beans," "desserts," and "yogurt," while always being mindful of health and deliciousness. The company is committed to the quality of ingredients, additive-free preservation techniques, and the pursuit of food safety and security. Furthermore, Japan is now said to be a country with a high prevalence of lifestyle-related diseases, but we are confident that the health benefits of soy isoflavones, black soybean polyphenols, dietary fiber and minerals from kombu, and lactic acid bacteria from Caspian Sea yogurt, which we have clarified through our foundational research, will contribute to the prevention of lifestyle-related diseases in the future.
