Fine bubbles rise for a long time! A case of the server's self-cleaning ability and the beer becoming smoother.
The "fine bubble generation nozzle for draft beer" was developed over three years starting in 2014 with the support of the national "monozukuri subsidy." The goal was to enable self-cleaning of draft beer servers, but it was discovered as a byproduct that the draft beer became "mellow." It is hypothesized that this is due to ultra-fine bubbles (nanobubbles). Additionally, we requested an investigation from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology to understand why draft beer with fine bubbles becomes "mellow." They conducted comparisons of floating Pocky, foam generation with Mentos, and analyses using an electron microscope. *For detailed information on the case, please refer to the related links. Our main business is the design of specialized machine tools for processing automotive parts and similar items. We have been researching microbubbles since 2000. In 2006, we developed a loop flow microbubble generation nozzle. We applied for a patent, which was published in May 2008. Since spring 2008, we have been supplying a special type to a company that sells ozone microbubble shower devices. General sales began in 2009.
