Furthermore, since they are Fab antibodies, they possess properties that can provide additional advantages in certain assay systems, such as not needing to remove the Fc region to prevent binding to receptors or to minimize the reaction of human anti-mouse antibodies (HAMA). Additionally, tag-specific detection antibodies are very useful in many applications.
