Road Concrete Pavement Slab Settlement Correction Method Achieves Early Lifting of Traffic Restrictions
We will correct the irregularities such as steps and flapping that have occurred in the concrete pavement slabs using specially developed high-strength polyurethane resin, without excavation and within a short construction period.
Using a specially developed high-strength polyurethane resin, we will correct the deformation such as steps and fluttering that occur in concrete pavement slabs commonly used on highways, as well as fill the gaps and voids that have developed under bridge deck slabs, all without breaking the existing concrete pavement and within a short construction period. Injecting polyurethane resin will also improve the loosening of the subgrade. Additionally, it enables the lifting of joints with polyurethane resin along with the bearing slab, fundamentally resolving the issue of correcting the step at the joint, which traditionally required excavation and long-term continuous restrictions or road closures.

【Features】 ■ Short construction period Compared to the replacement method, the construction period is about 1/10. ■ Eliminates looseness in the surface subgrade By injecting liquid urethane, urethane resin fills the gaps in the crushed stone, reinforcing the subgrade. ■ Corrects sinking of the bearing plate without excavation Enables non-excavation work, allowing for early lifting of traffic restrictions. ■ Compact construction package Construction is possible by simply deploying a truck equipped with all necessary materials and equipment. 【Construction Process】 1. Plant vehicle setup All necessary equipment for construction, including generators, compressors, injectors, and hoses, is loaded onto the truck. 2. Preparation work Conduct leveling surveys before construction to confirm the current conditions. Mark at 1-meter intervals and drill small holes with a diameter of 16mm. 3. Injection work Inject urethane in stages while continuously checking the level of the road surface. 4. Miscellaneous work and completion Conduct leveling surveys, fill the injection holes, and complete the work.
